Greetings from your Reunion Planning Committee, Walt and Isabel (Beers) McConnell, John Manbeck and Chris (Hill) Killough. Our 65th-year Bucknell reunion is fast approaching. Would you believe our 65th??? Your team encourages you to come explore Bucknell's campus with us again and help '53 establish new records for 65th reunion classes. Betty Stagg Nuovo '53

Nuovo became involved in the League of Women Voters and eventually opened up her own law practice. While running her own law practice, Nuovo went on to win a seat in the Vermont Legislature.

Ed Davis '53

Ed was a renowned business manager for some of Broadway's top shows, including Grease and Torch Song Trilogy, and later operating Westwood Playhouse (now Geffen Playhouse). In addition he was a Nationally recognized expert on the Siamese cat breed. In 2003, the Siamese Breed Council of the CFA, the world's largest registry of pedigreed cats, honored him with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Dorothy "Bugs" Harvey Lloyd '53

Dorothy "Bugs" Harvey Lloyd was a four-year starter for the field hockey club, leading it to great success in Bucknell Intercollegiate Play Day tournaments. She was a member of the Women's Athletic Association board and served as the organization's president during her senior year. Dorothy was inducted into Bucknell's Hall of Fame in 2007.

2013 Alumni Association Award:
"Service to Humanity"

Inspired by his membership in the Religious Society of Friends, Durland has championed the rights of Jews, African-Americans and conscientious objectors to the Iraq War.

Bradford Myers '53

Halfback Brad Myers was one of the most honored players on Bucknell's undefeated 1951 football team. An All-Pennsylvania, All-East and honorable mention All-America halfback, Myers held Bucknell's career rushing record. Bradford was inducted into Bucknell's Hall of Fame in 1980.
