Bucknell combines its exceptional academic program with Division l athletics to offer talented student-athletes a truly special college experience.

In the classroom and on the playing field, they succeed at the highest levels — and as alumni, they carry that experience with them in their professional and personal lives. A few highlights:

  • 136 Patriot League Scholar-Athletes of the Year
  • 18 of 25 Patriot League Presidents' Cup titles, the league's all-sports championship
  • Fifth in the nation in total number of Academic All-Americans
  • Second in the nation in the graduation rate of student-athletes — 92 percent

Our success depends on gifts to the Bison Club, which provide nearly 40 percent of the athletics department operating budget. Loyal alumni, parents and friends help fund necessities like equipment, team travel and student-athlete recruitment.
