Move-in & Closing Dates
Below you'll find information about when you can move into campus housing, when the University will be closed for breaks, and when you must vacate housing at the end of academic semesters.
Please note that you must have permission from Housing Services if you wish to reside in University housing outside of these dates. For more information, please contact:

Move Out (Spring 2024)
- All non-graduating students will need to vacate their on-campus housing assignment by Thursday, May 9 at noon.
- Graduating seniors will need to vacate their on-campus housing assignment by Monday, May 13 at noon.
- Room keys should be dropped off at respective move-out hubs or Housing Services located in Vedder 126.
- Students who may need to stay on campus past the move-out date should fill out the late stay request located on myHOME. Please note, the late stay request will be available in mid-April.
New Student Move-in Dates (Fall 2024)
- First-year student move-in will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 21, from 8 a.m. to noon. You may arrive at any time during this window.
- Students participating in Pre-Orientation will move in Friday, Aug. 16, from 7 to 11 a.m., and will receive move-in instructions from their Pre-Orientation leader.
- International students will work with the International Student & Scholar Services office on individual move-in plans based on their arrival schedule.
