During National Engineers Week, we need your help at these events:
Engineering Faculty and Alumni Lunch and Meetings
Return to campus and join the BEAA for lunch followed by a meeting with your respective degree department to discuss a topic(s) of the academic department's choosing such as career trends, academic programs, etc.
Engineering Career Network Event
This event is structured to allow engineering alumni and students to talk to one another in an informal and relaxed setting about their represented career field (non-engineering fields too), what it entails, its future, typical volunteer, internship or entry level positions, etc. The Career Network Event also offers opportunities to share general career advice. Do you have experience that you can offer in resume review, interview skills and/or graduate school? Share it with current students.
IMPORTANT: This is not a job fair, so you are not required to have open positions to participate.
If you would like to learn more, please contact Lois Engle at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 570.577.3162.
While we hope you will participate in both of the above events, you may also choose to participate in only one of the above events.
As an event attendee, you will also be invited to join over 500 engineering students and the engineering faculty at a dinner celebrating National Engineers Week on Friday, Feb. 24, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. During the dinner, you will learn about the week-long competition that occurred between the engineering disciplines, and the winning discipline will be announced.
Thank you for your continued interest in Bucknell University and the College of Engineering!
