Undergraduate research at Bucknell allows students to pursue meaningful scholarly work with faculty mentors in any academic discipline — on a level usually reserved for graduate students. This opportunity deepens students' understanding of their field and hones critical-thinking skills. Donors are invited to attend the annual Kalman Research Symposium, a campus event where students present the results of their research projects.

Endowed undergraduate research funds sustain the program, help set Bucknell apart, and appeal to the best students and faculty.

A gift of $5,000 will provide a student with a full-time summer research opportunity or support during one academic year.
