Bucknell University will host its annual Family Weekend Sept. 23-25, which will feature numerous activities designed for Bucknell families. This year's events have a focus on academics, arts, athletics and student activities, and most begin Friday afternoon and run through Sunday morning.
Some of the activities that will be featured over the weekend include canoe paddling on the Susquehanna River, a barbeque dinner on Friday, theatre and musical performances, admissions campus tours, a Bucknell Institute for Public Policy faculty panel on the 2016 election, a tailgate luncheon on Saturday prior to the football game, other athletic contests, a Sunday morning brunch, and much more. For those arriving early or local to the area, the Weis Center will present bluegrass band Coal Town Rounders on Thursday, Sept. 22.
