Professor Qing Jiang, music, will perform along with her traveling group of musicians, the New England Piano Quartet, on Saturday, Nov. 12, at 4 p.m. in Rooke Recital Hall. This concert is free and open to the public.

Prof. Jiang (piano), Roger Tapping (viola), Natasha Brofsky (cello) and Laurie Smukler (violin) make up the group. Tapping, Brofsky and Smukler are senior string faculty members at the Juilliard School in New York. The ensemble will perform arrangements of Chinese folk songs and other standard classical works of Mozart, Brahms and Faure. This show is part of the group's lead-up to an upcoming tour in China, which is scheduled for Dec. 22 through Jan. 8.
