Bucknell in Denmark

PSYC 337: Child Development in Denmark. Based in Copenhagen, this program focuses on a comparative analysis of child development in Denmark and the United States. Students focus on the contexts of the family and education as well as surrounding cultural issues (e.g., history, ideology, economics, government) that influence child development.

Based in the heart of London, this program provides students with the opportunity to study across an array of academic disciplines while taking full advantage of their location in a major European capital. The program runs during fall and spring semesters as a theme-based program in the fall (i.e. Travel Writing, Darwin's Dangerous Idea etc.) and as a general course during the spring.

BuckWild Pre-Orientation Program

The Bucknell Wilderness Experience (BuckWild) is a dynamic outdoor pre-orientation program.Participating in BuckWild is a great way to face the challenges of transitioning into the university. You will meet your new classmates, learn more about yourself, build relationships from upper class peer mentors, and have a whole lot of fun! We have several trip options to choose from including Service based expeditions, multi-element expeditions, backpacking, rock climbing, caving, paddling, and more!!
