Looking for a particular type of class? Are you curious about what each class entails? Check out our Group Fitness descriptions and see if there is a class that's right for you! Every instructor is qualified to adjust the class format to suit the needs of beginner, intermediate, and advanced participants. We welcome ALL LEVELS of group fitness enthusiasts to attend!
BARRE BURN – A total body workout that utilizes the ballet barre to perform small, isometric movements, which burn fat and sculpt muscles. Concentrates on hips, thighs, glutes, and abdominals
CARDIO PILATES – This class consists of body sculpting, cardiovascular movement, and a variety of core strengthening exercises that will guarantee a full body workout.
H.I.T – A step interval class utilizing a variety of combinations. Be prepared to have your heart rate elevated!
KICKBOXING – This is a non-contact kickboxing class utilizing basic kicks and punches on a heavy bag. Designed as a total body workout, this class will make you sweat!
MAT PILATES – Gain core strength, tighten abdominals, increase overall flexibility, streamline their body shape, improve posture, reduce stress and coordinate breathing.
RIPPED RAIDE** – A cycling class like no other. This class incorporated upper body strength training exercises while staying on the bike. A total cardiovascular and upper body strength training class.
PIYO – Combines the muscle-sculpting, core firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility of yoga. This low impact class leaves your body looking long and lean.
SHOCKWAVE ** – 30 minutes of this circuit-based class, and you will be shockwaved! Incorporates cardiovascular, strength and body weight exercises. Be ready to work in this class!
SPINNING** – A fun and upbeat cycling class for people of all athletic levels. Get ready for a workout of hills and interval training that will get your body in shape! (Some Spinning classes are limited to 20 participants; if you see a ** next to the session you want, you'll need a FIT TIX to enter.)
SPINNING ATTACK** – This cycling class brings it! Be ready to attack fast intervals, strong hills and power sets.
TABATA – A high intensity interval workout, of exercises performed for 8 rounds of 20 seconds of work and 10 seconds of recovery. This is a 45-minute class with upbeat music guaranteed to make you sweat! All levels welcome, modifications can be made.
TRX® Suspension Training®** – is a revolutionary total-body fitness program that uses gravity against the individual's own body weight to simultaneously develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability. (Some TRX classes are limited to 15 participants; if you see a ** next to the session you want, you'll need a FIT TIX to enter.)
YOGA – This class is fitness-based focusing on flexibility and strength through breath work and Vinyasa, or flow of yoga postures.
ZUMBA – An exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness-class. This class format combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body in an aerobic/fitness fashion. NO DANCE EXPERIENCE NEEDED!
ZUMBA PARTY – will be located in Sojka Pavilion.
If you see ** next to a class on the schedule, that indicates that class size is limited and a "FIT TIX" is required for entrance. FIT TIX are available 1 hour prior to class, limit 1 per person and are located at the front desk of KLARC.
