LEWISBURG, Pa. — The department of theatre and dance at Bucknell University will present a Choreographers Showcase of faculty and student work on Saturday, April 4, at 8 p.m., and Sunday, April 5, at 2 p.m. in Powers Theatre of Coleman Hall. Admission is $3 per person.
"The showcase features a wide array of dance styles, from tap to modern to pointe," said Er-Dong Hu, associate professor of dance at Bucknell.
"Some of the pieces are collaborations between lighting design and dance composition students who have been creating throughout the semester to produce their work," he said.
Students directors are Bucknell senior Alex Fredas and junior Bianca Roman; the faculty adviser is Dustyn Martincich.
Featured guest artists are Jennifer Schmermund, a 2000 graduate of Bucknell, and collaborator Kim Young.
