Hold Clearance

Registrar's Office

Continuing undergraduate and graduate students without holds will be automatically enrolled and do not need to attend Hold Clearance. You must notify your Academic Dean in writing if you wish to withdraw from the University.

Notification of your hold status will be sent to your Bucknell e-mail address and to your campus box. Students may also check for holds by logging into myBucknell after August 18, 2009.

Undergraduate Hold Clearance - Registrar's Office 102 Marts Hall (please note location change)

Tuesday, August 25, 2009, Noon - 4:30 PM

Schedule Problem holds can be cleared in the Registrar's Office, 570-577-1201. Academic Deans will be available in the Registrar's Office to approve course additions and underloads. Only students with Schedule Problem Holds will be permitted to make course changes at this time. All other students must wait until the start of the Drop/Add Period on Wednesday, August 26, 2009.

Degree Audit Holds can be cleared in the Registrar's Office at Window 2, 570-577-1201.

Finance Holds can be cleared in the Finance Office, 570-577-3733.

Dean Medical Holds can be cleared at the Zeigler Health Center, 570-577-1401.

Insurance Holds should be cleared through Hulse Associates, call 1-800-432-6681. 

Students with holds who fail to attend Hold Clearance on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 will have a $25 late fee posted to your student account unless prior arrangements are made with the Registrar's Office.

Graduate Hold Clearance - Registrar's Office 102 Marts Hall

Monday, August 24, 2009 - 6:00 - 7:00 PM

Graduate Late Registration and Hold Clearance will be held on Monday, August 24, 2009, from 6:00 -7:00 PM in the Registrar's Office, 102 Marts Hall. It is possible for students to receive registration confirmation by mail. This is extended to graduate students who by August 18, 2009 have registered with no schedule problems, are cleared for enrollment by the Finance Office and have proof of current TB test on record at Student Health Services.
