The Most Valuable Player in the Middle Atlantic Conference and a Little All-America honorable mention quarterback in 1962, Ron Giordano set 11 school passing and total offense records that season. His season records included 119 completions in 211 attempts for 1,461 yards and 14 touchdowns. The latter two marks stood for 20 years. He was inducted into Bucknell's Football Hall of Fame in 1995.Read More
Dick Tyrrell captained the 1962 Bucknell football team and was a three-time selection as a first-team end on the All-Middle Atlantic Conference team. Also an Associated Press honorable mention All-American for three straight years, Tyrrell was the leading receiver as a sophomore on the 1960 team that won the Lambert Cup. He was inducted in Bucknell's Hall of Fame in 1986.Read More
