Dedicated staff, committed to supporting Bucknell University.
With its red brick buildings, Georgian architecture, striking vistas and expansive green spaces and trees, Bucknell is the quintessential college campus.
Our Office of Facilities preserves the historic fabric of our campus through careful and sustainable campus planning, renovations and construction, buildings and grounds maintenance and more.
One of our missions is to protect human health and the environment through encouraging innovation in purchasing and waste processes, making recycling easy, and providing education that promote environmental stewardship. Learn more about recycling at Bucknell.Recycling

If you need to have a broken window fixed, a picture hung, a broken or leaking pipe repaired, a toilet unclogged, a room painted, a new key made, an electrical outlet replaced, heat or air conditioning turned on or off, a room cleaned, etc., contact Facilities. Facilities provides service for almost any type of repair or replacement.
Students can request work to be done in their rooms by completing the work order log, which is posted on the custodial closet or bulletin boards in each residence hall.
Going green is not a new issue with the Bucknell custodian staff. They have been proactively investigating green cleaning options and systematically initiating the most economic, eco-friendly, and effective cleaning materials for over ten years.
Within the facilities organization are electricians, carpenters, locksmiths, painters, plumbers, groundskeepers, utility technicians, vehicle mechanics, custodians, co-generator power plant operators, warehouse personnel, trades technicians, computer aided designers, and clerical staff, as well as civil, electrical and mechanical engineers.
