Assistant Dean of Students and Student Conduct Administrator
Chip Marrara joined Bucknell University in December 2002 as the assistant dean of students and director of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs and became the assistant dean of students and Student Conduct Administrator in May 2010.
Marrara has over 20 years of higher education experience and prior to Bucknell, worked at Virginia Polytechnic Institute, the University of Georgia, Western Maryland College, (now McDaniel College) and the Pennsylvania State University. He also has five years of full-time business experience.
He has a bachelor's degree from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania; a master's of education from the Pennsylvania State University; and completed all his course work, oral and written exams towards a doctorate of philosophy from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute.
He and his wife Nancy have two sons and live in Lewisburg in a home built in 1933 by then Bucknell dean, Forrest Brown.
