Latin American Studies
Bucknell's Latin American studies majors delve into the history, culture and economic forces that shape this complex region.
Legal Studies
The legal studies minor requires at least five courses, one course from each of the five categories listed below. No more than three of these courses may be in a single department.
Linguistics
Linguistics majors learn how to analyze language and study it scientifically, design innovative experiments and uncover new patterns in language.
Management & Organizations
Choose to focus your major in one or four concentrations — entrepreneurship, global management, human resource management or managing for sustainability — or carve your own way.

Mathematics
Bucknell offers a range of mathematics degree pathways to fit students' needs and learning goals, including the option to pursue a bachelor of arts or bachelor of science, to concentrate in theoretical or applied math and to earn a secondary teaching certification.
Modern Hebrew Studies
Bucknell Modern Hebrew students learn the language of the state of Israel and can choose from a range of language and culture classes, including film, literature and history.
Music

Peace & Conflict Studies
Peace & conflict studies explores the causes and nature of human conflict from the interpersonal to the global level.
Philosophy
Bucknell philosophy majors ask the big questions, embracing humanity's natural curiosity to examine the inner workings of knowledge, reality and value.
Physics & Astronomy
In Bucknell's nationally recognized physics & astronomy program, students explore the universe with professors who have discovered new planets and can measure the noise made by an atom.
Psychology
Bucknell psychology majors gain more than outstanding classroom instruction. Students will have opportunities to conduct faculty-guided research in our animal lab, study abnormal psychology at Danville State Psychiatric Hospital or work with children at our on-site child care center.
Public Policy
Public policy as defined by Kraft and Furlong (2007) is “what public officials within government, and by extension the citizens they represent, choose to do or not to do about public problems. Public problems refer to conditions the public widely perceives to be unacceptable and therefore requiring intervention.”
Race & Ethnicity Studies
The minor in race & ethnicity studies takes an interdisciplinary approach to the study of race and ethnicity.
