Start A Real Company, Earning Real Profits, in Your First or Second Year
Management 101 — a groundbreaking experiential course pioneered at Bucknell — empowers students to form real companies that work to benefit local charities. In it, you'll be charged with organizing your enterprise from the ground up. You'll make decisions about leadership, develop a product and sell it on behalf of clients that count on your business to support their charitable works. Management majors typically take Management 101 as first-year students or sophomores, so you'll be immersed in a challenging — some say life-altering — experience that will deepen your experience from the very start of your Bucknell education.
Get Experience with an Internship
Internships provide management students with real-world business experience, professional development and networking benefits. Bucknell’s Center for Career Advancement helps students identify and apply for internships with companies such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch.
The Dominguez Center for Data Science

Students can expect real-world, hands-on learning experiences that prepare them for 21st century careers and foster ethical data-driven decision-making and creative problem-solving, no matter their area of study.
I've always enjoyed the challenge and satisfaction of solving problems. Teaching at a business school allows me to work with students and organizations to pursue that passion.
