Gina Bavero

Professional Interests: Interpersonal relationships, Neurodiversity, Trauma and Anxiety

Gina joined Bucknell University after serving as the Associate Director and staff therapist at Counseling and Psychological Services at Susquehanna University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's in Professional Counseling, earned in 2011, and has 10 years of service in the Army Reserves. With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, Gina has worked across a variety of clinical settings, led counseling teams, and supervised mental health clinicians working toward licensure. She is passionate about student health and wellness, taking a holistic approach that focuses on the 8 dimensions of wellness to address student needs.

Outside of work, Gina enjoys watching and playing soccer, yoga practice, and family trips to Hilton Head.
