Luiz Felipe Perrone
About Luiz Felipe Perrone
Felipe Perrone, joined Bucknell in 2003 and has taught 16 different courses up until now, several of which he developed from the ground up. As a staunch enthusiast of a liberal arts education, Felipe's approach to teaching is centered on developing his students' ability to integrate technical computing content with its broader historical and societal context. A supporter of students' independent learning and undergraduate research, Felipe has mentored several students in summer projects, independent studies, and honors theses. In his scholarly explorations, Felipe currently divides his attention between modeling and computer simulation, and humanistic factors that surround the adoption of robots in society. Beyond computer science, Felipe is a champion of international education and foreign language studies.
