Nathalie Dupont

Nathalie Dupont's research focuses on contemporary poetry and poetics, more precisely on the various forms and representations of deviance in experimental writing in post-1968 France. Fascinated by the thwarted portrayals of the writer often depicted in contemporary works, she has devoted most of her investigations to exploring writers' and theoreticians' accounts of identity and authorial figures, forms, and functions of poetic writing, as well as cultural discourses on society and politics found in these texts, drawing on theoretical motifs, such as détournement and dissidence, dislocation and dismantlement, animality and idiocy.
