About Samuel Gutekunst
Sam Gutekunst is the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Assistant Professor of Data Science at Bucknell University, with appointments in the departments of Computer Science and Mathematics. Sam teaches courses in data science, algorithms, operations research, and combinatorics, and joined Bucknell in 2020. His research is in data-driven decision making and combinatorial optimization, and his application areas include hotel room allocation and detecting gerrymandering. He has worked with undergraduates on research, consulting, and software development.
