Steven Stumbris

Steven Stumbris promotes an entrepreneurial mindset and a culture of innovation in central Pennsylvania as the Director of the Bucknell SBDC. He founded BizPitch, Bucknell’s business pitch competition for student startups, and helped launch StartUp Lewisburg, Bucknell’s first community-based business incubator. Under his leadership, Bucknell's center has twice been recognized by the U.S. Small Business Administration with the SBDC Excellence and Innovation Award for Pennsylvania.

Stumbris is the moderator for WVIA's Keystone Edition Business television program and an organizer of One Million Cups Susquehanna Valley, a regional initiative that empowers entrepreneurs. He serves on the boards of the Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce and Lewisburg Downtown Partnership, as well as Advance Central PA’s Workforce Development Board.

He holds a Master of Professional Studies in Community and Economic Development from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
