Dominguez Center for Data Science

At Bucknell, students learn to do more than consume and produce data — they develop an understanding of how to use data, no matter their course of study.

The Dominguez Center for Data Science is a centralized hub for innovation, collaboration and idea-sharing in data science and artificial intelligence (AI). The Dominguez Center for Data Science equips Bucknell students to tackle global challenges in the digital age while also supporting faculty and staff in integrating data science into their teaching and research. By fostering interdisciplinary partnerships, the Center enables the seamless incorporation of data science across academic programs, driving innovation and collaboration throughout the University.

By emphasizing the practical application of data in innovative ways, the Dominguez Center empowers the entire Bucknell community to push beyond the assumed boundaries of data as a discipline. Faculty, staff and students engage in real-world, hands-on projects, gaining critical skills, advancing research and fostering ethical, data-driven decision-making and creative problem-solving.
