Top tip for someone applying to college: Try to drown out the noise of your peers comparing college lists, unhelpful family pressures, rankings, pretty pictures on school websites. Become an educated consumer and try to also include in your research a school's graduation rate of students who share your identities, what is the percentage of need meet when it comes to financial aid, and does the school have ALL of your majors and not just the one you assume you will graduate with.
