**Waitlists will be purged Aug. 21, 2024. No students can be added to waitlists after this point.**
First-year Schedule Changes
First-year students will be able to make schedule changes after they have met with their adviser on Thursday, Aug. 22 or Friday, Aug. 23. All course changes must be processed in person in the registrar's office, 102 Marts Hall. Drop/Add cards are available online (see link below) or at the registrar's office.
Students may add any open courses (except FOUN/RESC) without permission through the first week of classes. Instructor signatures are required for closed courses and for ALL courses during the second week of classes.

Special note regarding changes to Foundation Seminars: Changes to foundation seminar courses (FOUN 098 or RESC 098 sections) require the approval of the adding instructor.
All schedule changes must be processed before 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6.
Upperclass Online Drop/Add
Noon, Friday, Aug. 23 – 11:59 p.m., Friday, Aug. 30
Upperclass students (sophomores, juniors, seniors) will be able to add open courses online in Banner Self Service starting at noon Friday, Aug. 23. Registration pins are not required. Online drop/add will continue until 11:59 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30. Access to closed courses requires instructor permission. Electronic overrides may be obtained by sending your BUID number to the faculty member attached to the course. If permission is granted via email or a signed drop/add card, courses can be added in person in the registrar's office or by forwarding the completed drop/add card to registrar@bucknell.edu.
Late Drop/Add – Instructor Permission is Required for All Added Courses
8:30 a.m., Monday, Sept. 2 – 4:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 6
Starting Monday, Sept. 2, all course additions require instructor permission. Completed drop/add cards may be submitted in person in the registrar's office or emailed to registrar@bucknell.edu. Be sure to include instructor permission for the added courses as well as information on the courses to be dropped.
Please note the registrar's office will be closed on Monday, Sept. 2 in recognition of Labor Day. Late course changes will be processed starting on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
All schedule changes (including section changes) must be filed online, via email or at the Registrar's Office, 102 Marts Hall prior to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6. Any changes made after this point may result in a "W" grade.
Underload/Overload Approvals
If you are dropping below 4 credits, you must secure permission from your adviser and associate dean for a course underload.
If you are going above 4.75 credits, you must secure permission from your adviser and associate dean for a course overload.
