General Policies
Report a lost, damaged or stolen card immediately to prevent unauthorized purchases.

Public Safety
570-577-3333Once you inform either office, your lost card will no longer work. You will be charged a $20 fee to replace your lost card.
After business hours or on weekends, Public Safety can issue a temporary identification card with access to your residence hall only.
You must stop by Public Safety to replace your card. You must return your temporary card to Card Services in order to receive your new card. Failure to do so will result in an additional fee of $20.
Your temporary ID card will:
- NOT have your picture
- NOT contain any special permissions you may have to enter other areas
- NOT allow you to check out books at the library
- NOT be usable at any dining facilities (you will be required to fill out a charge slip)
Yes. We require a $10 minimum balance for both your Campus Dollars and Dining Dollars.
Dining Dollars are part of your meal plan and are valid only at campus dining locations.
Campus Dollars can be used to purchase meals, but can also be used to pay for services like laundry, printing, box office purchases and more. You can also use Campus Dollars off campus at specific businesses around Lewisburg.
You can load Campus Dollars, Dining Dollars, or both to your BUID. You add funds to each account separately. Campus Dollars can function as a safety net for your Dining Dollars. If you spend all of your Dining Dollars, the balance will automatically be deducted from your Campus Dollars balance.

Campus Dollars are not transferrable to any other person.
Log on to the Laundry View site to check the status of laundry facilities on campus. You can reserve specific machines and see when the machines in your building will be available. You can even sign up to receive text message alerts when machines are available.
Campus Dollars
Your Campus Dollars account works like a debit card. Once you deposit money into your Campus Dollars account, you may use your BUID card like a debit card on campus and at some businesses in Lewisburg.
Yes. Your meal plan and Campus Dollars are two separate accounts. But please be aware that campus dining locations will withdraw funds from your Dining Dollars first, then your Campus Dollars.

Yes. You need Campus Dollars to use any of the campus laundry facilities.
Depositing Funds to Campus Dollars and Dining Dollars Accounts
Your Campus Dollars account is automatically opened when you receive your BUID card. After your initial deposit, you can use your card to pay for laundry, meals and other services on campus and around Lewisburg.
You can make a deposit to your Campus Dollars online anytime using your checking or savings account.

Campus Dollars and Dining Dollars should be available within minutes of your completing your deposit.
Refunds and Closing Accounts
Once you make a deposit into your Campus Dollars, your balance follows you between semesters and years. When you graduate or if you withdraw from the University, your balance is refunded to your student billing account and your account closed.
No. Campus Dollars are only refunded to your student billing account when you separate from the University.
Yes. Any remaining balance will be refunded to your student billing account when you graduate or separate from the University.
For the Class of 2026 and beyond, Dining Dollars will carry over from the fall semester to the spring semester but will expire at the end of the spring semester. For other classes, Dining Dollars will carry over from semester to semester and year to year, but become invalid upon graduation or separation from the University. When unused Dining Dollars expire, the full value is applied to the B-Swipes program to support students in need of food assistance.
