Black Women's History Week
Feb. 27–March 1
In 1851, Sojourner Truth delivered her most controversial, yet powerful speech: "Ain't I a Woman?" Her speech continues to touch many Black women in the present. Presented by The Center for the Study of Race, Ethnicity, & Gender, The Griot Institute for the Study of Black Lives & Cultures; Multicultural Student Services; Stadler Center for Poetry and Literary Arts, Women's & Gender Studies; and the Women's Resource Center, Black Women's History Week at Bucknell will amplify voices that are often ignored. Join us in celebrating the intersectionality of being both Black and a woman here at Bucknell University.
