COVID-19 Information for Visitors & Guests
Bucknell's campus is open, and we welcome visitors. In order to ensure the health and safety of all, the University has enacted COVID-19 protocols for events and visitors. These same guidelines apply to all, including our own students, faculty and staff, regardless of vaccination status.
Bucknell reserves the right to request that visitors who do not follow these protocols leave University property. These protocols may be subject to change at any time. Please check this page prior to visiting campus for the latest updates.
COVID-19 Symptoms & Exposure
Please do not come to campus if you do not feel well, have exhibited symptoms of COVID-19 in the past five days, have tested positive for COVID-19 within the past five days, or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the past five days. If you tested positive more than five days ago but less than 10, you may come to campus but should wear a mask at all times, including outdoors.
Face Coverings
As of Jan. 1, 2023, a campus mask mandate will only be imposed when a mask mandate is issued by either the state or the federal government. However, faculty and staff may request that individuals wear masks in classrooms and labs and when meeting in private spaces, and visitors to campus will be expected to comply with these requests. Please have a mask available to you when you come to campus.
Those who have completed isolation following a case of COVID-19 should continue to wear a mask for five days. These individuals should wear a mask at all times, including outdoors.
Event Capacity & Social Distancing
Some events may impose additional guidelines for social distancing or limit guest capacity through ticketing and occupancy restrictions. Advance registration may also be required for some events. Guests and visitors should observe these restrictions and posted signage, including instructions for social distancing.
