Vedder Hall
Vedder Hall is located in the heart of Bucknell’s lower campus, a short walk from the Elaine Langone Center, 7 th Street Café, and Lewisburg’s vibrant downtown. Completed in 1965, Vedder is named in honor of donors Lee N. and Grace Q. Vedder.
Residence Details
- Coed floors for east and west wings, single-sex options on center half-floors.
- Rooms vary in shape and size and include single and double rooms. Z-shaped rooms have two 7-by-12-foot spaces arranged in a Z formation, allowing personal space for each occupant.
- Rooms include a bed, desk, chair, dressers and wardrobes for each resident.
- Men's and women's restrooms located at either end of north and south halls, gender-neutral bathrooms on the ground floor.
- Tile floors in rooms and stairways, carpet in hallways.
- Window screens are not provided by the University.
- Approximate window dimensions: 56"x33" and 56"x20".
