Confidential Care, Right on Campus
Bucknell Student Health offers a wide range of on-site care to get students back on their feet fast and help them meet their health goals. Services include treatment for routine illnesses and injuries, sexual health, drug and alcohol education, travel medicine, nutritional education and campus outreach. Visits to Bucknell Student Health are available to all students on campus regardless of your health insurance type (whether you are using insurance from home or purchased the University plan).
Appointments should be scheduled by calling 570-577-1401. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please call to cancel.
Medical Record Requirement
All incoming students are required to submit a Medical Record Form to Bucknell Student Health prior to arrival on campus. A physical exam is part of the requirement, so please schedule one with a health practitioner as soon as possible to ensure your form is completed and sent to Bucknell Student Health on time. The deadlines for submitting the record form are:
Fall semester deadline: June 15
Spring semester deadline: Jan. 3
Insurance Requirement
All full-time undergraduate students and graduate students must enroll in or waive health insurance coverage offered through the University each year. Students who waive this coverage must provide verifiable proof of comparable coverage.

Your Care Options
Bucknell Student Health
We serve the Bucknell community with full suite of health, wellness and counseling services, from routine check-ups to minor surgeries and physical therapy. We can also offer referrals to local health-care providers.
Local Health Services
Bucknell Student Health has partnerships with Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg and Geisinger Medical Center in Danville — two well-respected health care organizations near campus. Through these partnerships, students can access specialists, emergency care and other health resources through either provider.
Health Education Workshops
We offer fun and educational workshops to help students and campus organizations stay healthy and happy, and can work with you to plan a custom workshop to meet your needs. Formats include presentations, games shows and informal discussions, on topics such as stress, nutrition and more.
