Bauer Scholars Program
The Charles T. Bauer Scholars Program offers need-based Bucknell University scholarships to highly qualified students from Baltimore City or Baltimore County, Md. Recipients will receive notifications along with their admissions decisions.
Prospective high school seniors can be nominated by their counselors. Students who meet the residence requirement will automatically be considered. Recipients are selected based on academic credentials, interviews and financial need. Eligible applicants must also complete their application for financial aid, which includes submitting both the CSS Profile and FAFSA, for full consideration.
Bauer Scholars receive a $20,000 scholarship and an enhanced financial aid package that will meet the full demonstrated need of the student as determined by the Bucknell Office of Financial Aid. Bauer Scholars also participate in Bucknell's T.E.A.M. Mentor Program, which includes a Pre-Orientation experience, partnership with an upperclass peer mentor and a yearlong program featuring team-building activities, interactive groups, events and topical discussions.
This scholarship is renewable annually. To maintain your Bauer scholarship, in addition to the participation in the T.E.A.M. Peer Mentoring Program, students will need to make satisfactory academic progress and remain in good social standing at the University.
