The Division of University Advancement works to advance the mission of Bucknell University by engaging the greater Bucknell community.
It is only through the support of alumni, parents and friends — by opening doors to career opportunities, engaging others to join the conversation and community, and entrusting us with their philanthropic commitments — that we can further elevate Bucknell as a leader in undergraduate education.

University Advancement engages and inspires the Bucknell community of alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff and friends, providing opportunities for meaningful involvement. We champion Bucknell's mission and priorities, build lifelong relationships with our various constituencies and secure critical philanthropic support.
Our division is comprised of more than 100 dynamic, impact-oriented professionals on six major teams, united by a passion for making a difference.
University Advancement Teams
Center for Alumni & Family Engagement (CAFE)
CAFE fosters community engagement by offering diverse programs, events and volunteer opportunities for alumni, families and students. CAFE celebrates Bucknell's spirit while providing alumni career support and partnering with affinity and leadership boards.
Center for Career Advancement (CCA)
The CCA provides a comprehensive approach to career education and readiness for students in pursuit of their career goals. The center partners with faculty, employers, alumni and parents to offer experiential opportunities, meaningful connections, advising, events and programs.
Marketing, Strategy & Outreach (MSO)
MSO leads direct marketing solicitation efforts designed to ignite a spirit of philanthropy in support of Bucknell. The team also leads the marketing and digital engagement strategy, mobilizing our constituencies on behalf of Bucknell.
People, Success & Operations (PSO)
PSO executes key initiatives aimed at ensuring the long-term success of the division. Through intentional engagement and programming, PSO attracts, retains and develops people for the success of the division.
Strategic Advancement Services & Campaign Administration (SASCA)
SASCA is made up of: advancement information services, gift processing & data management, stewardship & donor relations, and gift planning. They work collaboratively to manage philanthropic activities that help propel Bucknell forward in fulfilling its education mission.
Strategic Philanthropy (SP)
Through long-term, meaningful relationships, the strategic philanthropy team partners with alumni, parents and prospective donors to help each individual or family achieve philanthropic goals that further Bucknell's mission.
